If sales tax is turned on in your QuickBooks Online account, Intuit disables invoice CSV import entirely. Check that before you rely on the CSV path, and fall back to entering the invoice by hand from the time detail file.

Daily roll-up is the defensible default. Twelve two-minute emails rounded individually bill 1.2 hours for 24 minutes of work. Rolled up first, they bill 0.4. Raw seconds are always stored exactly; rounding only happens when you invoice.
